The Grieving Journey Podcast
When people hear the word, "grief," it is often associated with the loss of a person, but did you know that there are over 40 different grief events? Grief is an experience coping with loss. Grief is an emotion and can be tied to divorce, losing of a job, loss of health, etc. and we want to open up the discussion around all types of grief.
The mission of The Grieving Journey Podcast is to provide a safe space for individuals to share their stories in hopes of touching the hearts, souls, and minds of those who are currently or have yet to travel this journey.
Take a listen as Angel Morel Brown and Dr. Portia Lockett not only share their experiences with grief, but also tune in as they interview others about their grief journey and how they traveled to healing.
So many people are experiencing grief and may not even realize it and the way to get started on the journey is to first acknowledge that it exists.
The goal is to help others to heal so that they can be the best version of theirselves.

During this episode, we spoke with International Speaker and Best-selling Author, Dr. Eddie Connor. Dr. Eddie not only shared his journey being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at the young age of 14 and losing his best friend some years prior to cancer as well, but he also shared a newer grief journey of losing his grandmother. This episode explores questions like, "How does a man deal with grief?" and "Who is encouraging the encourager?" These are real questions to consider when dealing with grief.
